Oakley is an associate with the firm concentrating her practice in corporate law, general business transactions, tax and estate planning, and commercial lending. Ms. Oakley received her law degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii in 2006, and her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island in 2003. While in law school in Hawaii, Ms. Oakley served as the Co-Director of the Environmental Law Society. Ms. Oakley spent her third year of law school as a visiting student at Boston College. Ms. Oakley is licensed to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and before the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island. She is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Rhode Island Women's Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. oakley served as a judicial law clerk to the Justices of the Rhode Island Superior Court. |
